Direct install, no Play Store needed
The 89pkr Android app is distributed as a direct APK download, which means you don't need to go through the Google Play Store. The process is simple and takes less than two minutes on most devices. Here's exactly what to do:
On your Android phone, go to Settings → Security (or Apps & Notifications on newer Android) and enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager. This is a standard one-time setting required for any APK not from the Play Store.
Tap the "Download Android APK" button on this page. The file will start downloading to your phone. It's under 35 MB so it downloads quickly even on 3G. Wait for the download to complete before proceeding.
Once the download finishes, open your notification shade and tap the downloaded file, or open your file manager and find the APK in the Downloads folder. Tap on it to begin installation.
A standard Android installation prompt will appear. Tap Install and wait a few seconds. The process is quick and you don't need to create any special permissions beyond the one in step one.
Once installed, tap Open or find the 89pkr icon on your home screen. Log in with your existing account credentials or register a new account if you haven't already. Everything syncs instantly.
Full experience through Safari or Chrome on iPhone
Apple's App Store policies mean the 89pkr app isn't listed there, but iPhone users don't miss out on anything. The 89pkr mobile website is fully optimised for iOS and works exceptionally well through Safari and Chrome on any iPhone running iOS 13 or later.
On your iPhone, open Safari (recommended for best iOS performance) or Chrome. Both browsers deliver the full 89pkr experience on mobile.
Type the address into your browser. The site detects you're on mobile and automatically loads the mobile-optimised version. No separate steps needed.
In Safari, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen and select "Add to Home Screen". This creates a shortcut icon that behaves just like an app – one tap to open, no typing the address each time.
Log in with your 89pkr account details. All features including live casino, sports betting, deposits via JazzCash and Easypaisa, and withdrawals work exactly the same as on desktop or Android.

When it comes to online gaming in Pakistan, the mobile experience matters more than almost anywhere else. Most players here are primarily phone users – whether it's placing a bet during a PSL match, checking live casino tables during a lunch break in Lahore, or spinning a slot while commuting in Karachi. The 89pkr app is built with exactly this usage pattern in mind.
One of the most common pieces of feedback we get from Pakistan players is about connection stability. Pakistani mobile networks are genuinely good in urban areas – 4G is widely available and 5G is expanding – but data speeds can still vary. The 89pkr app is optimised to handle these variations without crashing your session or causing the live dealer stream to stutter. Games load fast, the interface doesn't hang, and your bets go through without you having to refresh and wonder if the transaction went through.
The app also handles the local payment ecosystem better than most platforms. Because 89pkr is focused on Pakistan, the JazzCash and Easypaisa integrations are properly built and tested. Deposits through these wallets don't require you to leave the app and open a separate wallet application – it's handled in a way that feels like a native part of the experience. The same applies to Raast and bank transfers for players who prefer those methods.
For sports bettors, the in-play cricket betting interface on mobile deserves a special mention. During a PSL match or a T20 international, markets update in real time and you can place bets, check your open positions, and follow the match score all from the same screen. The layout is designed for quick taps rather than mouse clicks, so you can react to game situations without fumbling around the interface when it matters most.
Security on the app matches what you'd expect from a properly built platform. Your login session is encrypted, financial data is never stored locally on the device in an accessible form, and you're protected by the same SSL infrastructure that covers the desktop site. If you lose your phone or upgrade to a new one, your account remains safe – just log in on the new device and everything is exactly where you left it.
Android
iOS / iPhone
Both Platforms
During a PSL season, having the 89pkr app on your phone means you're never more than a few taps away from placing a bet. Open the app, navigate to the sports section, find the match, and your betting markets are right there. Pre-match odds, in-play markets, total runs, top batsman, method of dismissal – all available on a screen that fits in your hand.
For players who follow international cricket closely, this is especially valuable when Pakistan is playing away matches in different time zones. The app handles odd-hour usage just as well as prime-time sessions, and notifications can alert you when markets go live for a match you've been waiting for.
One concern Pakistan players often have about live casino on mobile is whether the dealer stream will be clear enough on a phone screen. The short answer is yes – the 89pkr live casino streams are optimised for mobile viewing, with adaptive quality that adjusts based on your connection speed. On a solid 4G connection, the stream is clear and smooth.
The table interface is redesigned for touch screens rather than just shrunk down from desktop. Betting chips, timer countdowns, and game controls are all sized appropriately for thumbs. It's a genuinely comfortable live casino experience on mobile, not a compromise.
